Kansas City Chiefs Face Receiver & Offensive Tackle Crisis

Kansas City Faces Receiver and Tackle Concerns

Kansas City appears to have few options at wide receiver, with Thornton gone for the rest of the year and questions surrounding Rasheed Rice.

The team still has Kenneth Walker, though Seattle limited him last night. The Seahawks focused on stopping Walker and succeeded, aided by Kansas City’s issues at tackle.

Josh Simmons has not played all season for the Chiefs, while Jalen Moore is out with a concussion. It is easier to shift protection when only one tackle is missing, but losing both makes that adjustment much more difficult.

Those absences created an especially challenging matchup against Seattle’s front seven and defensive line.
