Contreras and Turang Hitter Props Stand Out as MVP Race Takes Shape
William Contreras and Turang are the preferred Milwaukee hitter props, with each backed to record at least two combined hits, runs and RBIs. This market offers more flexibility than total bases because a player who reaches on a walk or an error can still score a run, while an RBI can come on a groundout.
Turang has been in the middle of the action throughout the postseason. He is hitting .263 and has a team-high eight runs, along with one home run and four RBIs. Contreras has also been outstanding, supporting both his hitter prop and his MVP case.
Contreras appears to be the MVP favorite unless something changes. Ashby is one of the few other Milwaukee players in consideration, although he was not involved yesterday. Chorio has also been fantastic and could shift the race with another big game. After a great season, he has continued to perform well in the series and has shown that he is a budding star.
Outside of Contreras and Chorio, another player winning MVP appears far-fetched. Both would likely need to go 0-for-4, while someone such as Ashby would need a major late-game performance.
Another appealing play is under 2.5 strikeouts for May. He is not expected to remain in the game for long, with two or three innings viewed as the maximum, and he has not been accumulating many strikeouts.
