Paraguay Hosts Historic FIFA Exhibition During 75th Congress

Paraguay celebrated a landmark event by hosting the 75th FIFA Congress and a special exhibition in its capital, Asuncion. This exhibition, held in May 2025, marked the 120th anniversary of FIFA and the 110th anniversary of CONMEBOL.

The event, titled "FIFA 120th Year Anniversary," featured a collaboration between the FIFA Museum and the Museo Conmebol. It showcased original trophies, football relics, and interactive experiences. Notably, it included significant artifacts such as the FIFA World Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, FIFA Women's World Cup, CONMEBOL Copa Libertadores, and Copa America trophies.

The exhibition provided a unique opportunity for the people of Paraguay and delegates from the FIFA Congress to explore football's rich heritage and its impact over the years. In attendance was the president of CONMEBOL, Alejandro Dominguez, who joined other officials in celebrating this special occasion.

This event not only highlighted the significant milestones in football history but also celebrated Paraguay's 100 years of FIFA membership, dating back to its joining at the 14th Ordinary Congress in Prague in May 1925.
