Tkachuk Brothers Make History as Bruins Impress During Action-Packed NHL Slate
The fact that the Tkachuk brothers are playing together is already incredible, but they made history during the Florida Panthers’ 7-3 win over Columbus. Brady Tkachuk scored a natural hat trick, with his brother assisting on all three goals. It marked the first time in NHL history that one brother assisted on every goal of another brother’s natural hat trick.
The full day of hockey was an absolute home run. Thirteen of the 16 games were decided by one goal, and the games averaged seven goals. The first goal of the day came at 6:16 p.m. Eastern, while the final goal came at 1:45 a.m. Eastern. That late finish frustrated Bruins fans, who had to watch their team begin at 8 p.m. Pacific.
The grand salami also went over. Addison noted that the total was available at 99.5, 100.5 and 105. There were 112 goals scored by 222 players, including 71 goals from Gen Z players.
The Bruins looked great against the Sharks. Their young players are contributing, and the team is showing that it has more than McAvoy, Swayman and Pasta. The puck movement looks different from recent years, while the goaltending is back and Swayman is playing well in net.
After watching four Bruins games, Matt Perrault likes what he has seen and believes a Stanley Cup ticket could be in his future.
