Jaguars’ Potential, Trevor Lawrence’s MVP Case and Steelers’ Strong Start
Jaguars fans have reason to wonder whether their team could win 14 games. If that happens, Trevor Lawrence should be in the MVP conversation. That does not mean he will win the award, but a 22-to-1 ticket on him would not be unreasonable.
At the same time, the Jaguars have the potential to fall on their face and let the opportunity slip away. Still, their price to win it all is not horrible at 10-to-1. It would be stunning if they missed the playoffs. They should win on the road against Baltimore this weekend and could win their next four games, including the road game against the Giants in New York.
Steelers fans are also going to start getting loud, and it is difficult to argue with them. Pittsburgh is 6-2, including 4-0 at home and 3-2 in the conference, while Aaron Rodgers is playing very well.
Pittsburgh’s game at Cincinnati is next weekend, on November 15, rather than this weekend. This weekend’s Sunday night matchup is Tampa Bay at Chicago. Other notable Sunday games include Denver at Carolina and Green Bay at New England.
