Georgia-Alabama Officiating Sparks Frustration as College Football Top Five Takes Shape

The Georgia-Alabama game highlighted a strong college football weekend, but the officiating left Kalen DeBoer frustrated. DeBoer said his team could not put the game in a position where officials could affect the outcome and instead had to control what it could control.

When asked whether he received an explanation for a no-call, DeBoer said the officials did not believe it was pass interference.

The college football top five begins with the Ohio State Buckeyes at No. 5, followed by the Indiana Hoosiers at No. 4. Indiana has a big game coming up this weekend.

Notre Dame sits at No. 3, with the November 7 game in South Bend expected to be wild. Miami is No. 2, while Georgia holds the No. 1 spot. Notre Dame will not be ranked ahead of the alma mater.
