Miami’s Team Total and Gunner Stockton’s Passing Yards Lead Saturday’s Card
Dave likes Miami’s team total over 37.5 against Florida State. Despite the rivalry factor, he believes Miami can score as many points as it wants against one of the country’s worst defenses.
He also likes Miami quarterback Darian Mensa to exceed 269.5 passing yards against a Florida State pass defense ranked 111th in the country.
Another passing prop on the card is Gunner Stockton over 214.5 yards against Auburn. DJ Lagway and Aaron Fio have both thrown for between 280 and 300 yards against Auburn’s pass defense, and Dave expects Stockton to reach at least 215 yards in a game Georgia should win easily.
Elsewhere, Auburn plus 20 is a favorite play. Georgia is coming off its game at Alabama, while Auburn is coming off a bye. With Auburn treating this as a kitchen-sink game, the Tigers are expected to remain competitive with the Dogs.
The rest of the card includes over 42.5 in Michigan State-Penn State, with both offenses being underrated and the defenses receiving too much credit. The Ducks minus 6.5 against Nebraska are another late-night selection.
Syracuse at 14.5 against Louisville rounds out the picks. After fading Louisville last week, the expectation is that the Cuse can hang around in this matchup.
The projected final score for Miami-Florida State is 47-17.
