Among Boston, Detroit, Cleveland and Miami, the Celtics stand out as the best value to win the Eastern Conference. Despite the team’s many changes, Boston still has championship pedigree. If Jayson Tatum returns to All-Pro form, the Celtics can beat any team in the conference.

Further down the board, the Heat also offer intriguing value. The addition of Giannis Antetokounmpo could fit well with the five-out system Miami played last year, which featured minimal pick-and-roll action. In that system, Giannis could approach a triple-double average and post record assist numbers while making the Heat an exciting team in South Beach.

Still, among the top three choices, the Celtics get the edge. Miami should remain in the conversation, though, because of Erik Spoelstra, the way Pat Riley runs the organization and the impact Giannis could make.
